From our humble beginnings to our vibrant modern ministry, The Hope Center has been built on the rock of Jesus' teachings—His truth guides every step we take. Located at 1924 East Pembroke Avenue, our doors are open to every person seeking hope, healing, and community.
As a kingdom-minded Christian Church, we exist to give mankind hope. Through the unwavering grace of God, Spirit-led leadership, and the passion of our dedicated volunteers, we are transforming lives and drawing hearts closer to Christ.

Pastor
Alvin RobinsonMinister
A native of Hampton, VA, Apostle Alvin J. Robinson has served Christ with humility and passion since childhood. Ordained an Elder in 2006, he served two associate-pastor tenures before answering God’s call in 2020 to lead The Hope Center. Driven by a deep hunger for God, he continually prays for and ministers to those in his sphere of influence, demonstrating the grace, mercy, and love he has received. He and his wife, Shantrice, are proud parents of five adult children.
Dr. Emmanuel EkopPastor
A native of Lagos, Nigeria, Pastor Dr. Emmanuel Ekop was raised in a strong house of faith where he dedicated his life to Christ at an early age. His journey in ministry led him to South Africa, where he earned his Master’s and Doctorate of Divinity while ministering internationally.
In 2019, Dr. Ekop relocated to Hampton, VA, continuing to serve the community through various local ministries before joining The Hope Center. He is known for his practical teaching style that helps people apply the truths of scripture to their everyday lives. He and his wife, Dr. Nakita Ekop, are the proud parents of four boys and believe family is their first and most important ministry.

Rose Dixon
Pastor Rose Dixon is an ordained minister and compassionate leader who believes “nothing is impossible if you believe.” She extends God’s love without reservation to all people, especially the less fortunate. As the author of God’s Precious Jewels and Follow the Plan, she uses her platform to inspire deeper faith and service in our community while nurturing her daughter Paula’s own walk with Christ.

Leonetta Jules has been faithfully serving in ministry for over five years, walking boldly in her calling with a deep passion for deliverance, intercession, and the prophetic. Since joining The Hope Center, she has embraced multiple roles where she allows the Holy Spirit to guide her in every area of service. Rooted in a strong Christian faith, her mission aligns perfectly with ours: to reflect God’s heart to His people.
